Not the movie, I'm talking about me.

Did quite a bit of work in my room today removing as much of the old walls as I could. Man, lemme tell you, demolishing old walls isn't easy and I feel naive now to think it would take me one weekend to do it. See, I've done demolition work before on other properties, but the difference here is that I'm doing a unique job and I don't have the same convenience as I normally do in an empty house.

The job I'm doing basically involves...

- Removing the mill barn siding boards one by one (which I've already completed)

- Demolishing the old walls (which I'm doing now)

- Installing new electrical wiring (which I'm gonna need my brother's electrician skills)

- Insulating the walls (I found the walls actually do have insulation but they look like health hazards)

- Installing a sub-wall (either plywood or furring strips)

- And then finally reinstalling the mill barn siding boards.

Despite the fact I worked all day today, I'm disappointed I couldn't do every wall. Oh well, just gotta keep at it. I'm more worried about the reconstruction itself, like how I'll be able to do it, how it'll turn out, etc. I have a feeling there's a good chance I'll have to modify the siding boards; it's only a matter of how many I'll need to modify.

I'm also rushing this job a bit because my uncle will be visiting us for a month and I'd like my room to be ready by the time he arrives, but I don't think I'll make it in time.
